Protective Hero Trope

A story dynamic where the male lead positions himself as the shield for the heroine, often stepping into danger, managing threats, or taking control of situations to keep her safe, usually regardless of her own wishes on the matter. It's less about actual danger and more about the hero's relentless, sometimes possessive, need to guard her from any harm, real or imagined.
